Spot & Tango is a fresh, natural dog food start-up. What started as just Fresh or UnKibble meal plans has evolved into a well rounded brand including Snacks, Supplements, Toppers, PupGum, Merch and more to come.

I joined the team as the sole designer in November 2022, right in the middle of a rebrand led by DayJob. Using the new brand guidelines as a foundation, I rolled out the refreshed identity across every touchpoint including packaging, photography, email, organic social, paid social, web and more.

Since then, I’ve continued to evolve the brand as we’ve expanded into new products and channels, making sure everything feels cohesive and considered. In 2025, our creative team grew to include a Creative Director, and I now collaborate closely with them to concept and execute all digital marketing campaigns.

Valentine’s Day 2026
The offer was a free bag of PupGum with every order of UnKibble. Since it featured our two hero products, we leaned into a playful Valentine’s Day theme and didn’t take ourselves too seriously. It was a pretty scrappy shoot in the best way. We made our own branded props, including a custom chocolate box, heart cutouts, and even a heart-shaped spotlight.Art Director + Designer — Lauren Burleigh

Holiday Campaign with Fi Partnership 2025
This campaign promoted a free Fi collar in early December. We framed it around a holiday gifting theme and carried that through the photoshoot, leaning into the feeling of unwrapping the perfect present for your dog. Halloween Sale 2025
For this campaign, we leaned more heavily into black to create a moodier, slightly spooky feel. To keep it grounded in the season, we brought in holiday colors through props and small styling details rather than changing the core palette. That balance let us nod to the holiday in a playful way while still keeping the brand recognizable and consistent.Art Director + Designer — Lauren Burleigh

Snuffle Mat Launch
In addition to designing the mat + packaging, I created the launch assets for our Snuffle Mat. I wanted the mat itself to feel distinctly ours and instantly recognizable as Spot & Tango, you can see more about that here. There were a lot of value props to communicate, not just for dogs but for their humans too. To make that clear, we kept the imagery clean and straightforward so the benefits could stand out without feeling cluttered.Art Director + Designer — Lauren Burleigh

Toppers Launch
I designed the packaging for Toppers and carried the visual direction through all of the launch assets. Since it’s a pretty straightforward product, we kept the messaging simple and focused on making it feel elevated.
